Today's (much needed) rainfall inspired this one. :)
... it's raining, raining little boys: they chase each other from the clouds; they play hide and seek with the lightning; they laugh at the explosive thunder-farts; you know how they are: boys will be boys. :)
Boys will be boys - and I'm sure glad they are. I've still got one deep inside, and he loves to run in the rain, and splash through mud puddles. And sometimes, thunder-farts are pretty cool!
Those boys grow up to be men, the song, IT'S RAINING MEN, HALLELUJAH! by the Pointer Sisters, those boys grow into men and the thunder grows LOUDER! Nice graphic and poem, Karla...
Do I ever...have one brother, gave birth to one, married to one, and have about fourteen in my classroom...great write my dear friend...loved it!
