Thank God! Thank God! Thank God, we're free!
Born in the Land of Liberty!
I am blessed to have been born here,
Because our freedoms I endear.
Thank God! Thank God! Thank God, we're free!
Born in the USA, you see...
Don't mean to brag, but understand,
America's my home, my land.
Thank God! Thank God! Thank God, we're free!
Where all have opportunity!
Where you can live out all your dreams,
And where our freedoms reign supreme!
Thank God! Thank God! Thank God, we're free!
Will you join in the revelry?
Wave the colors high in the air!
Don't they look lovely, flying there?
Thank God! Thank God! Thank God, we're free!
Raise your voices in harmony!
And together, we agree...
Thank God! Thank God! Thank God, we're free!!

I love America. I've always been patriotic, but
this year, I'm especially so...after the events
of September 11, we can never, ever take our
freedoms for granted again. I just had to let
God know that I'm thankful for them...and may
God bless America, now more than ever. :)
(((HUGS))) Love, Karla.

You know, I always appreciated American History in school, I was sincerely interested. And still, it was not until just a year or two ago, watching a live play that I came to realize that, in some senses, those noble folks who made those most historic decisions that paved the way for our freedoms risked EVERYTHING that we take for granted as common comfort or human connection. Some lived with the sense of looking over their individual shoulders for the rest of their personal lives due the fact there were at least as many people who staunchly disagreed with specific decisions as there were supporters. Thanks. Vicky
