Nature's wrath (not God's, but I get the image) can be pretty bad in Florida too, but true, You Tx'rs have the Rivers and the Floods. Nothing floods like a Texas River (or a TS over Houston in 2001!) You have my sympathies; ain't gonna abate any time soon either.
It seems that devestation is everywhere! We are under a severe drought, everything seems to be drying up before our very eyes...the large farms are really suffering, crops are nearly destroyed! I wonder if God is trying to get peoples attention...I wonder if time is coming to a close...I wonder if He is getting ready to come get His children and take them home...I don't know but surely hope is in sight!

I don't know Karla....but someone says we live in hEl Paso Tx....either way since Texas is the biggest state it is no wonder we have the most of everything...even Nature's wrath is BIG in Texas....as you say never a dull moment here...
Giggle! God just wants to keep the sparkle of interest in our lives Doesn't wants us to be bored, ya know. I mean, we've got IT ALL right here - every kind of landscape. Deserts, forests, mountains, lakes, rivers, and some ocean-front to die for. God does not wish for us to become complacent or bored. There's nothing like the threat of a possible tornado ... to keep us "interested!"

That as maybe, but why does Texas have the most Miss America's, the friendliest folk, and miss worlds in every church and mall, and damn right everywhere...
I loved storm chasing at nights over there, as i've always said if america had english NHS, i'd live in Texas and no where else, it's unique and beautiful, and the accent is to die for... i did fall in love with a lass over there, but she went to boston with the first church of america....never found a lass like her since, now that was 20 yr back-ish....Still am contemplating at Dyess AFB, with boeing military...hah hah i'd be round for tea and crumpets..lol, get the kettle on...
We recognize love as well as hate...it is the dull moment when I sometime feel hate...lost. In strength...appreciate the forces...know that however...He is thinking of you.

I wanted to comment favorable, but Jeanette has sour'd the wine with her idiotic prattle. Actually God loves Texas, because He knows Texas can withstand all the plagues He gives to it . . . Well, why not? Makes as much sense as some people . . .
I can imagine how folks might feel that way--that God hates Texas--and maybe a few other places as well. At the risk of being contrary, I rather think he's giving mankind free rein to make choices and then do as he pleases, and we've used our freedoms o corrupt the atmosphere and the earth and are beginning to get feedback from our expeditious adventures.
