Good moooorning! :)

Poem Artwork

The sun yawned, stirred himself
awake and looked down at the
lazy slug still in bed.  This
would not do.  No, not at all --
if it couldn't sleep, neither
would she.  He poked his fingers
into her eyes and said, "Wake
up."  Pulled the covers over
her head:  leave me alooone.  He
was determined she was not
going to waste the day:  you
know, seize the morn and all that ...
so he shone and shone and shone
until the blankets got too
heated to stay under:  wow,
hot.  No choice but to get up -
what it wanted all along,
the sun, a friend and lover.

I love this! Great visuals. I got confused in all the pronouns though, maybe keep this one third-person?-- try calling "I" she and "it" he... what would happen? --Charlie (You know I only pick on the ones I really, really like...)
