The sky only knew one way to
go - down. It funneled to ground,
a mad/swirl of confusion and
chaos as it pressed close to the
heart of fear. I sang in concert
with wailing sirens, a duet
not worth Idolizing, to hear
my twin tell it: she said it was
worse than the tornado. Simon
Cowell would agree. It was bad.
More than. Paula and Randy might
be more sympathetic. Voice was
a little shaky - could blame nerves.
Did not make it to the next round.
You're funny. The sounds of nature are awesome when fear isn't associated with her moods. I'll bet you two are hilarious when things like this happed.

Hi Karla--No tornados here. Bright sunny day. I'm a bit down but I'm going outside and get some light. I read somewhere that people who live in violent climates choose to for the thrill of danger and the fact that it brings people closer together. Yes? :)
You paint a scary picture and I can just imagine the sensitivity of ripe nerves and fear. (In my younger days, we used to have storm party gatherings. As long as the beer got passed around no one seemed afraid.)
I read this, laughing, as the thunderboomers were shaking things up over our way and my brother's dog was trying to tear down the door to get in (we let her in). Like Regis and Paul, I enjoy a good storm, too, but only if they harm no one. Rebecca

Strangely enough, I have to agree with Regis. I love a good old fashioned storm. As long as no one is hurt and property isn't threatened, give me a grand old, mean thunderstorm every other day. Makes the blood boil.
