why is it always this way?
the foreplay leading up to
the climax and then, and then, the post-ejaculation
blues -- the day after the
Fourth, the big let down --
feel like a dead firework:
no sparkle. nothing to
look forward to except
Christmas and by the time
it gets here i will be sick
and tired of the hands
crawling all over me, into
my pockets, wanting me to
buy, buy, buy. e n o u g h:
leave me alone, already!!
Great job, Karla. Sometimes we go through life chasing the next event, instead of savouring every moment of each day. I agree with your take on the commercialism of Christmas.
It's funny you should say this, Karla. As I get older time seems to move faster and faster and, the way it looks to me, there are only two days in the year: the Fourth of July and Christmas and all in between are a blur and, I know that it will be Christmas tomorrow and the fourth of July the day after.
Hey, it's only a hundred in Texas today... Whew, great cool off, huh?

Don't be sad, Karla. Before Christmas, there's Labor Day, Yom Kippur, Columbus Day, halloween, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Hanukkah. So let the celebrations begin! -gene.
the glow of the Fourth's fireworks is in our hearts and souls Karla -- just because the sparklers of overt exhibition have waned, it does not signal the end of the eternal embers -- we should celebrate freedom each and every day -- cheer up, we could be living in the overt oppression of an Iran, Russia or China -- and remember, truth is usually 99% perception -- peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael
Karla I can understand what you are saying but everyday that we are here is a gift a reason to celelbrate, thank you for sharing

Well if it makes you happy, my birthday is less than a month away, as I just ordered my present...then Thanksgiving is before Xmas, so no more whining...e
Is that why you're sad? Because the fireworks have ended? Because it's back to the same old, same old, ignoring those who serve(d)? It's what I read in these lines, Karla. Believe me, I know how you feel: I hate it too, myself. You look forward to the parade and fireworks, then it comes, then: BOOM! Gone! It's over! *Sighhh* Exquisitely penned and felt; very well done, and love that piccy!

Love your videos too! You forget, though: more fireworks on Saturday! Something to look forward to, and something most people don't get to do: they're lucky if they see fireworks ONCE. We get to see them TWICE. Now how cool is that?? :)
I Know Karla. We will have our own holiday tomorrow. Let's call it Celebrate Living Day! Yes! I like that. Of course only you and I know about it. Oh well.

Christmas - only days away; plastic snowmen and glowing reindeer adorn the lawns of neighborhoods all across America. All is calm, all is bright, and yet there is something tragically wrong about this Christmas night.
