Wild storms with 74 mph winds reported in Burleson, frequent lightning (500-600 recorded strikes every five minutes?!?) and brief, heavy rain came in early this evening. Twin sis and I sheltered at local hospital through worst of it. Came home to find storm door ripped off of its hinges. Could have been worse. Glad it wasn't. How scary! Sitting here safely in Southern California that sees fires and occasional earthquakes, how scary to know that your storms can be a today and next week and the next week occurrence. So glad that you and Karen are safe.

You're so right, Karla: it could have been worse! I just thank God it wasn't! Seems our storm door didn't keep out the storm! LOL At least our walls, windows, and electricity still held; it's only by a miracle that it did! Thank you, Lord Jesus, for keeping us safe; You came through yet again! :) Well done, Karla, and I love the piccy! Rather pretty in a terrifying sort of way....LOL
