My take home pay
doesn't take me
home. What's left
goes to taxes ---
income tax. State
tax. City tax. Tax
on my land, my
house, my school
(even though I
haven't gone in
years). My bed.
My table. My food.
My clothes. My
shoes. My smokes.
My beer. My car.
My gas. And if I
win the lottery,
can't enjoy it until
I pay the tax. How
am I supposed to
pay the bills?!??
And when my life is
over, you'd think
my family would get
a break --- nope.
They have to pay
the inheritance tax.
I've always said that it wouldn't be so bad if I could only see where its going is doing someone good. Instead I hear that congress keeps voting themselves raises while freezing or even cutting the pay of those who really serve us. There's too many foxes in the proverbial hen house. Rebecca
This is funny because not 30 minutes ago I was told I may lose some of my benefits because the part-time job I have may put me over the earnings limit they allow for food stamps...oh well, got along without it before I had it, guess I can get along without it now.
The UN plan, according to white papers released in the early part of the decade, was to incrementally push taxation up to around the 80% level in order to break the backs of the middle-class and make people so poor they won't have the time or energy to resist the new global governance scheme. We're already at about the 50-60% level. The final push would come in the form of "green taxes", VATs and a slew of other insidious mechanisms to finally crush the working class once and for all. Makes me wanna holler too!!
That really sucks, doesn't it, Karla?? They don't give a rip about us little people. Next thing they will be charging tax for the things we think, our heartbeats, or our breath! Insanity; that's what it is: insanity!
