we had a power outage this past monday
(although--THANK GOD--it wasn't as bad
as what happened in the midwest, north-
east and canada yesterday), when severe
thunderstorms packing winds over 85
MPH, hail, heavy rain and frequent,
intense lightning, rolled through the
dallas/fort worth area. power was
knocked out to a number of customers;
some for only a few minutes, some for
much longer--hours. my power was out
for nearly three hours.

can you imagine the above conversation
taking place? kind of reminds me of
my own daddy and mom. :) although
without the swear words. :) but you
could tell they were thinkin' 'em...LOL
