XIV: Happiness Fades

I've wedded infelicity
You standing between us at the alter
Praying for our long-lasting agony
Sending me off with desolation
Hand tucked primly into the elbow
Of this epitome of cruciation
We all of a sudden become unendeared
Forsaken and crossed in love
We foresaw but were ill prepared
Now simply existing in this crucifixion
I have to learn to be alone, or maybe just to be
Living with my unheeded predictions
And the regret of decisions made
Lacerated and convulsing with misery
I have to live with watching your happiness fade.

I love it. And your site is these.precious.thing is absolutely awesome. Keep the revolution alive!

They'll tell you that they love you, like a spider loves a fly
Promise you you're safe but never look you in the eye
Manipulated, regulated, crippled and controlled
Remember this - you're not alone, you're not alone,
YOU'RE NOT ALONE...

Come on! Can you hear it?
The call of the wild
Stand up and fight back
and kill their plastic smiles
Why listen to the losers who still treat you like a child?
Tune in to the call of the wild.
Call of the wild

Stabbing Pencey Boudreaux by Mary Lynn Plaisance

A poignant story about letting go of a narcissist in your life. Have you ever been attacked FULL force by a narcissist? It's the closest thing to being stabbed over and over in the back.
