childish timid testing awkwardness
I'm going to be sick
memories like hot flashes
spreading and invading
soaking through my soul
wrong lips wrong lips
baby, baby I'm so sorry
wasn't supposed to be this way
oh wow this isn't happening
never, I said never
I could be sick
that's a strong possibility
but not a valid excuse
I said id never
and here I go
not meant to be
what is this
so unnatural
I can't live with this
broken ties
I've severed beauty
and made it two
the past sweetness
and the present monstrosity
and then there's you

how do you live with regret
when you've destroyed normalcy
when you've tossed aside morality
and created yourself a baby
with shredding claws
and a hideous to behold face
how do I live?

Loved this poem. You've captured it very well--the persona and the shadow of each person. Of course, in reality we're both angels and demons. Beautiful.

God I hate giving tens to everything you do. It's sickening. Could you screw up just one poem, please, so the rest of us can catch up?
