maybe you don't hear me
maybe my words have all turned blue
they've blended into one tiny cry
and you're sick of the torture
yet... there is no silence in me
I can close my mouth
and quiet my hand
and my heart would scream at you still
so what do I do
when your face becomes stone
and your body flinches beneath my hands
as if my blue touch would stain you forever
you shut me out as if I were a cancer
and you're sheilding yourself from death
my words, they mean nothing to you anymore
you've become numb to the heart you painted
