last night we cried together
I've never seen tears in your eyes

Never

You got me drunk on Jack and Coke
Thinking maybe I would spill it all
And tell you what has had me so silent lately

carracarracarra

A strange name that one is
Because it is not mine
but I know its curves and bends and twists
better than I do my own name by now

so I spilled it all
things I always said I would never say
sobbing and stumbling
I watched the tears fall down your face
and something inside me felt relieved
I wanted to hurt you
but the price for my payback
was a broken heart

Mine

"I know you're gonna go back to her
I know you're gonna leave me
and there's nuthin I can do
I hate her so much I hope she dies
she never deserved you, she never wanted you
but the whore has you and I don't
Isn't life funny honey?
I love you so much you bastard
I tried not to and I'm so sorry I tried
but I failed
again.
I just wish I would have known long ago
I would have made sure I was pretty enough
I would have made sure I was smart enough
I wish I'd made myself good enough for you"

This morning I watched you crawl out of sleep
My eyes felt like I'd just walked through a sand storm
Dry and red... so much so that I could hardly even blink
I never slept last night
You looked worse than I'd ever seen you
No more the carefree and boyish babydoll I loved
Your eyes were dry and red and all you could do was blink
So again you kissed my forehead and you were gone
And the morning sun... layed shame to all my foolish revelations.
