The thoughts make my heart bleed!
Amber! Wonderful caring true poem!

The Cherokee believed that we were only caretakers of nature, not spoilers of Mother Earth. Global warming has progressed so far now that something must be changed immediately but even then we may see dire effects from mankind's carelessness. Good poem, true wisdom.

Well said and the movement to save the earth that started in the sixties when I was a teen continues to move forward and as long as it does there is hope for the world of tomorrow

I sincerely hope last night's Earth Hour was just the start of our giving back. We have far to go, Her time is quickly running out, and I truly hope many now begin to finally hear Her cries of anguish.
