I love to star gaze, it's so peaceful and serene!

Poem Artwork

Stars

by Amber "V" Moonstone

8/23/09

Gazing at the stars last night,
brought comfort to my soul.
I felt a bond of cosmic energy
as my mind felt calmly serene.

What is it about the stars?
They appear every night,
but always they seem, new,
and ever so magical.

I feel humbled by their presence,
I feel safe beneath their blanket,
I feel warmth by their glow,
and I feel love's flow.

It is amazing to star gaze,
especially at the ocean,
A reflection of the Universe's mirror,
that radiates healing energy.

Star light, stars shine so bright,

I made a wish upon them last night,

"May peace and love bloom for all
mankind, and bring hope and light
for the rest of our lives."

Blessed Be, Namaste!

Hi Amber
The stars hold magic for me too. Even our pooch will lie on the grass at night and gaze into the sky. She must be copying us, but I wonder what goes on in her doggy brain. Thanks for your lovely poem. Liz

I was drawn a long time ago to the Seven Sisters, the Pleiades, and to the Dog Star Sirius, which is strange, being Pisces my self.

It's so true, stars never lose their magic and bring back the wonder of childhood in all of us-thanks for this lovely poem to remind us.

Amber,
This is a beautifully reflective poem beautifully expressed, and the stars, the eternal ights we see above us and can only wonder at and admire, draw the soul out and up to another level of awareness and a sense of universal oneness.

great poem reflecting my nightly experiences on the shores of Montauk, watching the lighthouse beams encircle the darkness, as the milky way with all its vibrant exuberance, fills my mind with its serene velocity ...

Dear Amber, I had never read this simple question before:
"What is it about the stars?"
and yet I'm sure that it's the kind of universal question
that comes to mind when looking at a starlit the sky... :)

Gazing up at the Heavens, at the many twinkling lights (eyes?), I'm made to feel very small, indeed. Beautiful write from a fellow SkyWatcher - well done, Amber!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
