Amen to that, Amber. We need to exercise mindfulness about everything our life consists of because, in the end, it's all about what Mother Earth and Sister Universe put at our disposal; if they withdraw their goodwill, we're done for. Thoughtful work as always. xx

Mummy Earth is very sensitive to being dumped on. We must clean up or be sent to our rooms and be grounded. Her wrath is most frightening.

Powerful message and we sure don't steward it in the manner that we could.

I just read that 87 elephants are slaughtered every day for the ignorance of ivory. Your poem does not reach everyone, but we must continue to try. If everyone just cut back on all the stuff we seem to "have to have," it would go a long way to repairing the damage we have continued to inflict. The momentum of corporate growth and plunder is immense and hard to stop. But we must, if we are to continue living on a beautiful planet.
