No Time

I'll be gone for a church meeting for a few days. My activity at AD has been minimal as I have prepared myself. Just want to say "so long" for a few days and I'll see my friends first of the week.

My schedule’s been extremely full.
Don’t even have time to shoot the bull.
No poetry writing now for me.
Work piled up as far as I can see.

Whose fault can it be for this strange fate?
Where did I learn to procrastinate?
I’ve certainly learned it well for sure
But why have I been so very pure?

That crazy Facebook takes too much time.
To spend much time there is a big crime.
Solitaire’s a game which I adore.
I can lose time improving my score.

Meetings just pile up night after night.
If I skip them that wouldn’t be right.
I can’t find time to go to the gym
but it helps I don’t know how to swim.

So give me the time to organize
and soon I will myself surprise.
As I get my ducks all in a row
then my progress won’t be so slow.

Have a great time at the prayer meetings. Spending time with God has got to be best thing anyone can do.

Larry,

This is true, so scary. You've written the words we've all done at one time or another. Some more than most. I empathize with you as I have the same problem!

So Long! Hope them ducks line up real nice; and maybe they can lead you down to the pond, for a nice relaxing swim!
