Nestled deep in feather down
Fleeting thoughts of bits and pieces
I feel the touch of fingertips
Gentling circling on my forehead
Delicate kisses to my temple
I slide my arms around its neck
Ah new day of gratitude
miracles awaken knowing
Majestic sun greets the day
Morning falcon glides the sky
Starlings, thrushes, sing again
I enjoy my tea in crisp air morning
Listening to these songs of birds
Feeling a craving of sugar tooth
knowing the songs do satisfy
with the sweetness that they are
so many birds fly above
calling out to mates and prey
buildings their nests of sweetest hay
males prepare to show their colors
and females begin to season
Debby, wonderful images and such tranquility. Beautiful.

Absolutely true and beautiful Debby. If you aren't happy to see the sun come each day, you are not living a full life. I say 'go for it'. It's a matter of choices. Pick the best for yourself.
