Good morning all...had a lovely weekend with family and friends.

Good food, good friends = lots of laughs.

Wishing you a super monday. Hugs, Trish.

Poem Artwork

Windswept chimneys chug merrily like the old forty-seven
Clanking its way along the cold, rock-hard iron rails of life,
Maintaining speed in bursts of spits and farts, staying steady,
But forever moving forward, as if slicing butter with a knife.

Journeys trudging through climatic changes batter the soul,
Twisting and turning, until all that is hindering, bursts free
Conquering fears buried, subtly, just below the surface edge,
But forever expanding, like the spreading branches of a tree.

Majestic mountains towering high topping kaleidoscope skies,
Scrambling messages in filters of muslin both fuzzy, yet firm,
Displaying a distorted reality that the brain can’t conceive,
But forever fidgeting, like the worm on a hook left to squirm.

Tranquil oasis hidden deep within multicoloured shifting sands
Where nomads walk for centuries, upon centuries, through time,
Yet honest to their nature, they continue down the same path,
But forever vigilant, studying the next dune they must climb.

Turbulent waters gush down steep, jungle-clad winding walks
But forever renewing, like cycling leaves on ancient tree stalks.
