So much power here Lori, truth also. In between life and death, live to your hearts fullest and try to do it positively. Don't waste time on foolishness. Yes we do in youth. A cascade of images tied together in death's embrace, unsettling until the last ku, where there is some surcease from the ache of innocence dying. :)

Some are homeward bound not by blood but by love. Each sees a different sight when one thinks of home. Sometimes, if we are lucky,
homes loses its bloody image, and at least turns a shade of grey in our minds and hearts. Lori there are more people in this world who love you than who hate you. Many at AD find you a very sweet person, including myself, and only want the best to happen in your life. Your friend Bill

Lori this is perfection....it's one reason
why I don't write Haiku unless I am making a
comedic fun of it...because I can't do it well..

I think this is the best haiku I have ever read. You have topic, words, emotions and many other things working this write to a perfect ending. I hope that wasn't to much. :)
