Shrouds of Whether…

 Slicing rain and icy wind,
match the mood and spirit I’m in

The sun is hiding behind the clouds
and winter holds my heart in shrouds

The grass is brown
The trees are too
-Appearing dead,
and my heart does too

I wonder if springtime will come
and find a way to warm my heart
to make it feel alive again

If only I knew whether…

This is why I moved to Florida 28 years ago. I got tired of the cold and the anticipation for warmer sunshiny days. ~ Sara

I liked the question you asked at the end Whether? Pondering your sadness and questioning such a wonderful sage write. Liz

nice play on the word weather whether... yup i was ripped of by the salesman, my head gasket blew within a few miles, 500 quid or 1000 dollars to repair... However, thanks to police help and a stern letter said in a nice way, he's footing the bill. I drove over 100 miles at 40 mph due to overheating, before that it was the normal 120.... xx

A wonderful write my friend...written with heart and compassion, you've penned it with excellence! Great imagery! Thank you for stopping by my den today, you're welcome anytime! I enjoyed your review of Fingerprints of Time! By the way, my mom did the samething that your dad did, I too didn't want to make a choice as this was planning her departure! I'm not ready for that!
Blessings from Ky.

Even the weather here in Italy has been changeable this past week or so, but it appears to be on the mend. Cheer up Cryssa...spring will be here before you know it!

You ring justice to all the unweather we have all been experiencing lately, so harsh, so violent, and not wanting to leave....

Be always safe,

Deffo a Stormspinner kind of write, Cryssa; very well penned! BRAVA!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

You wrote this with the StormSpinner in mind, didn'y ya, Cryssa? The weather can - and does - affect one's mood - I'd rather have the winter than the springtime storms! Had some today, more expected tomorrow afternoon/night/Sunday morning, maybe by next Wednesday and Thursday - ENOUGH, already!!!!!!! Excellent setting of mood with incredible imagery - well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
