Crescendo

Slumbered through

 

Till early morn

 

Sunrise

 

Through the trees

 

Crisp clear air

 

Slapped my face

 

Serenity

 

On the breeze

 

Feathered flocks

 

Fly over head

 

Singing

 

Their daily praise

 

Resting on a crowded branch

 

Crescendo

 

Outdoor stage

 

Every day is a blessing

 

A present

 

You might say

 

A magnificent glorious celebration

 

I wouldn’t miss it

 

If I was paid
