Across the sky a cloud was thrown

Hurled before the driving gale which blew.

Jagged lightening slashed and tore the sultry air

Fierce thunder roaring echoed its despair.

Torn from the cloud, rain leapt toward earth

Huge drops which smashed the grass below

then Swept in angry torrents to the streams.

Savage fury, baleful fury.

Unleashed then quickly Done and  through

Then Peace.

 Reviews of "Storm"
Reviewed on January 24, 2008
As the StormSpinner...I had to read this. :) Glad I did: you captured the storm in all of its power and beauty! The buildup; the raging; the calming of the sky (and nerves!) afterward...well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
