The storm was a raging hell.
Screaming winds ripped massive waves
From the green flesh of the frigid water.
The ship was hammered to the ocean depths
While wailing the screeching dirge of metal
Being torn asunder.
Frantic Seamen struggled desperately.
Then crewed up in silent death
Tough capable men
The Sailors went to sea
Sharing a watery grave
Was their destiny.
There were no services
To honor their lives
The sunlight on the water
God’s tribute to sacrifice.
