Victims of war are frightened to trust.
They have been broken and beaten.
They have been driven insane.
Victims of war have been abused.
They are twisted and warped.
This side up please they are fragile and lame.
Victims of war are sorry and sore and yet so strong.
Victims of circumstance...
Victims with no name
Victims of war are hurt and ashamed.
They are torn apart and left to carry on.
Who is to blame?

Well Paul I like your poems ,I wish I had the memories you have of ardoyne Mine is compleatly different .I never new what love was ,I had to go through the hell of geting well from Alcohol.then I had to face what had happened to me as a chld in Ardoyne.I found what love was all about in the Bible Cor 1.13 ..Its sad to say that I grew up frightend of the people around me.Maybe that was because of the beatings I got as a child as well as being molested by a priest.I stoped painting a prity picture of my child hood.there wasent one.I remember someone hung a cat over the gable wall with a peace of string, and then the IRA tar and fathering me for no reson what so ever, and hurting and killing there own people .there is more. I am writing a book about how I came fron hell to heaven.
You may not want to keep intouch with me paul, but I will continue to read your peoms cause I like them. You have been gifted.
