This is dedicated to my contact at the IRS...he's really a pain in the ass but I thought this would be more appropriate

They say you can write a poem about anything
This is a poem
About my headache
It is not a big, colossal headache
Nothing to write volumes about
A small nagging
Tapping ache above my eye
Could have been caused by sinus
But wasn’t
Certainly not by any great anguish
In my life at this time
Just a small headache
Making me wince
And write this poem
For want of another topic
That has my attention right now
A headache
Small irritating
Headache
you

Well, this is the very reason I shun the chat rooms. No headache for me anyway:) :)

Sounds like a painful headache. We don't have the IRS but Revenue Canada is no better. Thank you, Sue. Love and peace. Regis

That type of headache seems to be going around.
So if a tablet could cure it we'd be rich.

The most frightening words on Earth, "We're from the IRS and we are here to help you."

You have lifted the mundane to the poetic. Well done.

You're a kick in the rear, Sue. This year I gave it over to an accountant. My check was lost in cyberspace. Took a month to track it down. It was sitting in her bank in Kentucky! I asked if she would give me the interest she ecrued on my money. She just laughed. Bye, Bye accountant!
