To You:This is a poem about sex, pain and love lost

Okay in case any of you were suckered
In by the pathetically obvious title, I guess I should write a poem

My name is Sue
I’m out walking the streets tonight
Thinking about you and how you left me
And how ….no scratch that, wrong poem
I’m walking the streets, afraid to go home
Because I can’t stand the pain
Anymore
Oh sure, in the beginning it was fun
On the second or third date
When the sex was getting old, I would bite you
And you would slap me
And I would curse you and you would spank me
Just a normal courtship
So we decided that we had too much to throw away
And we moved in together
Even the coat hangers were fun at first
When I would hear the closet door open
I would start stripping
You laughed so hard that night you were just
Hanging up the preachers coat
The look on his face was priceless
I’m glad it was your mother’s minister and not ours
But those days were heaven
The pain was good and we had such great crazy sex
It made me wonder a little about myself
And it made me dead
Sure about you
But that was part of being young and in love
I even remember the first time
You decided to heat the coat hanger
Not because of the scars
Or anything
But I almost never got the plastic off the electric burner
You aren’t stupid though baby
You learned
And when you would pull me across your lap
Applying that hot coat hanger to my leather clad derriere
Making me wiggle and squirm
Well honey, those were the good old days

So why am I walking the street
Afraid of the pain, you ask?
I haven’t figured that out yet but give me a second
Ahh, now I got it
The reason I am afraid to go home
Is because I know the fire has gone out
You no longer spank me
The coat hangers
Hang alone and forlorn
In the hall closet
And I go to
Bed
With a lily white ass
And a broken heart

damn..i almost forgot the tag: Baby, I can't walk past a dry cleaners anymore without breaking down in tears, knowing that you just don't love me enough to hurt me anymore
