The raging seas took her away ...

Taken Away

(January 19, 2010)

The raging seas took her away
From the comfort
Of the familiar waters
She grew safe around.

She was now caught in the roaring tide;
Sinking deep into the torrent of emotions,
That seemed to drown her
With every break.

Would she ever swim back to shore?
Back to the familiar waters?
Back to the comfort
That surrounded her with every wake?

Only time's flow would tell …

I find this write also to be symbolically meaningful, Lena. Water (the seas) can signify a great deal. Love and best wishes to you,

Regis
