Early- Before dawn Presents itself Above the horizon, Forest awakenings Induce a peacefulness Filling, chilled Surroundings- Sunbeams bouncing Off weary branches Finding refuge on Freshly powdered Snow, Glistening like diamonds In the rough- Animal tracks imprinted Making a collage of designs- Predators hunting, Birds flocking... I like all this about snow, we've not had any this year yet, but it will come eventually - nature is so beautiful when it's covered all in white and glistening snowflakes surround us.
