The beginning to the end. Yes break-ups are painful.... good to identify the beginning to the end. It makes the healing process easier. And remember the only medicine we tend to ignore is the potent medicine called TIME! yes time is a great healer...days become weeks into months and then years. Soon the heartbreak will be replaced with " I can't belive I felt that way"

cherish every moment, we are dying from the day we are born, we just don't want to think about it. remember we are actually each living in our own separate worlds and sometimes the closer we think we are getting to anothers world could signal the fact that they are drifting farther away from ours. To love each other simply means we try to understand for better or for worse. and often times it's worse. although
I prefer to believe one day our worlds will be as one. and our lives will be simple. I live for that day.
Regis, keep on writing out your poetry. It is a way to heal what is on the inside. I am crying in silence that someone hurt you so bad. You do not deserve hurt at all. I shall keep you in my prayers tonight. You are such a good, honest person.
I agree Reg, and I echo Felix, "if you love her,let her go". It's an old saying, but one that has real meaning even today. If she wants to go, and doesn't have that flame that was there at the beginning, then let her go. And even tho she may not want a parting kiss or hug, tell her you love her anyway.

We cannot hold on to another's love if they don't love us We cannot buy love either. You will find another with time and it will be more meaningful to you. Believe me I been through it too. We all think we suffer over a lost love, but the strength to go on make us better people for the next person who really truly does care and love us. So sad for your sorrow, but don't give up. Things will even out with time.

Wow, Regis, this is a very profound write of deep love and the sadness of losing that love. You brought out the reasons and senselessness one feels, the feeling of hopeless when you can't stop time and go back to the good parts. you show how emotional pain can wound. Outstanding verses in here, my friend. I'm saving this one in my treasure chest!
Reg, my friend, you have so well expressed sadness in your lines. And I can feel the pain. But I know for certain that healing follows. For whatever it's worth, I believe in a universal law that those who give love will in the end be truly loved.
Savor that which is good and let go of the rest, Reg. Some people will never love us, no matter what we do and holding on to them is one wave of pain after another. My very best to you, and be proud of yourself for loving someone even though you knew it would be painful for you when it inevitably ended.

How I hope this isnt who I think, because I know you love her more than anything and I also know how much she hurts you. I really really hope for you that someday you can love again and be free of her if she will never return to you, you deserve much much more. I know what it is like to lose someone that you really love. It took me so long to get over that loss. However, I have learned so much about myself during this grieving process and right now, I know what I don't want in a relationship and what I am really looking for, finally.
