It is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and I believe it.
The Eyes Have It! Yes, the eyes have it! In them, we find all: all that a man had,all That he has,and all that he anticipates. Look into the eyes of him Who has learned what is valuable In life, and you will see All that is true and noble. You will also see a twinkle Perhaps that makes you too realize The eyes have it! It is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and I believe it. As we grow, we can easily read the messages written in the eyes. Copyright: 2009

Babara, your poem, "The Eyes Have It" is revealing...enlightening. Like the eyes it speaks, or sees volumes. I agree with you that your and my poem, "Eyes are the Window of the Soul," are similar, insofar as our messages are concerned. Thank you.

Sadly, many people today fail to make eye contact...they are texting, having conversations on cell phones, playing video games while talking...eyes are revealing, when you can look into them. They make the connection that just isn't there otherwise. Nice writing.
