Thanksgiving is the season when each of us thinks of the many things for which we are thankful,and the many reasons for which to give thanks.

Giving Thanks Giving thanks to Him in all things, For life, loved ones, and a heart that sings Even when troubled and I cannot see my way. I give thanks to Him,and I pray For direction, for light, for everything, As I focus on Him, the King. I give thanks to Him in all seasons When I am content and joyful, or happy, for no reason. This is the season of thanks; This is the season of thankful giving, The season for giving thanks. Copyright:2012

I always look forward to this time of year as a very special opportunity to give thanks to God in everything! In our family we have a tradition: after consuming the Feast of the Harvest; we individually speak of the things we are most thankful for and then the next person does the same. This is a wonderful family time of bonding and we all look forward to participating in this family tradition. A lovely write, Barbara, thank you.
