Autumn Is She

When the leaves began to turn
You notice a sudden change in the Atmosphere
Even the cool brisk air smells like Autumn
The Earth wants to Escape
And go into hiding
The Days are shorten
The Nights tiptoe upon us more intensely
Just look at Her take on a different
Shape and Form
The Birds prepare themselves to go on
Their journey
For their Flight
The squirrels make sure they know exactly
Where to go to Protect themselves
From the Winter
That will be upon them
The trees will shed themselves of the leaves
That they had bared during the Spring time
They will began to appear more and more naked
Until the Transpormation is completed
The Red Cardinal which is a bright sight to see
He will continue to stay in the Mist
Of the Cold Winters
And make sure that we hear
His Sweet Melody and see
Him flying as he is so Happy to be
Now Nature has completed her cycle
Now the leaves are Dancing and Swirling
In the Autumn Breeze
So free are they are to be
when I decide to play with them
they have such a Delighted Fragrance
And when I hold them and step on to them
They crunch and they crunch
Now I look
The leaves no more I see
Autumn is Completed
Until the next time to be.
