Well isn't that the truth though, even here in england, it is exactly the same, and you're right the price of fuel will only be lower until the greedy sods think of some feeble excuse to raise it again,

Points well made, Patrick. They will get us one way or another. The government here (considering Canada's wealth comes from selling our natural resources cheaply without thinking of the future), is thinking of assessing another "carbon tax" to make up for lost revenue. Love the poem and the last line is the best.

It's good to see you posting again. I always love your humor.

Unfortunately, this good financial fortune for the everyday driver prolongs the time when we get smart and move quickly to vehicles that don't burn fossil fuels. Only gasoline prices above five dollars per gallon will do that.

Love it. You have me beat though, with a gas points discount I've been at 1.90 and I thought that was amazing for this area. Let's hope these prices are closer to the new norm!!!!
