When I see one now, like you, I pause a moment and watch the colors gradually shift and change with the cloud formations that support them. Knowing full well that all of the colors will soon fade into that old lovely song… Deep Purple.
Nice poem John! I love to watch the sunset after the sunset. Many folks leave the area as soon as the sun goes down but the most beautiful kaleidoscope in the sky occurs 5-10 minutes after the sun sets. Thank you for sharing...
