Gone In The Morning

In the morning, I'll be gone
back to where I live, belong.
Don't shed tears, mourn me gladly.
I bear your sins, all the wrong.
People, troubled, seldom see
beyond themselves ... tragically.

Gone in the morning.
Gone in the morning but, don't cry for me.
I brought victory!
I'm gone in the morning.  Where will you be?
I'm there!  Come forth in love ... peaceful and free.

In the morning, I'll be gone.
With God's choir, sing along
of His joy, serenity;
my Father thrives within Me.
Sinners--wayward--wistfully
ponder why others find glee.

Gone in the morning.
Gone in the morning but, don't cry for me.
I brought victory!
I'm gone in the morning.  Where will you be?
I'm there!  Come forth in love ... peaceful and free.

In the morning, I'll be gone
back to where I dwell, came from.
What a life!  It's full and free!
A superb gift, don't you see?
Will We share eternity
with faith, love, serenity?

Gone in the morning.
Gone in the morning but, don't cry for me.
I brought victory!
I'm gone in the morning.  Where will you be?
I'm there!  Come forth in love ... peaceful and free.
