Playfully say'eth the
winds
the leaves are dry
dancing justly
as summer is just
a memory
Come o'er the
meadows
for we are now
majestically
dressed in
scarlet and gold
Come
for soon the
white winter
winds grow cold

You are keeping up the tradition of poems dedicated to the " Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun" You are in good company.
Vivian, this is such a lovely poem and the picture reflects all of
the elements in your poem that you are describing. It seems so real
when it is read, I enjoyed it because it put me there in the moment.
Explore the mystery of how nature makes unexpected gifts of creative wonders to an unsuspecting caregiver one late night and early morning in southeastern Georgia, USA.
