I don't believe you're writing about the United States. But in 2015, you may have been predicting the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States. In all of the United States history, there has not been a president that was more of a monster than he. Although many Americans don't believe it. While he cut red tape allowing his rich friends to get richer, while throwing pennies to the masses and flattering them with false praise, he bargained with the worst dictators on the planet as his buddies.
Perhaps a benign robot could do better. Biden certainly acts a bit like a robot.
