I deleted a couple of reviews from people who took this "poem" way too seriously. After all, it is categorized as "humour", and we English are known for saying things with our tongues firmly tucked into our cheeks!
Old Age Sucks!
Aching bones, Moans and groans. No longer sprightly Means three pees nightly. And being in the mood To do things rude Happens only twice (With luck, maybe thrice) A month, that is, ’cause now all the fizz Has gone with the years, Replaced by the fears Of what lies ahead . . . what it’s like to be dead. For when all’s said and done And life’s race nearly run Wecome to the crux . . . , . . . old age really sucks!

Hi Peter...yes humorous it truly is....we must laugh at ourselves or surely we would die...now today this sounds like my husband complaining of getting old...he is not laughing at all...lol....so I guess I will have to show him this poem...great work...floria

hahaha, what is old age though...when I was a teenager 30 was old, when I was 30, 50 seems old, now i am 40`s even 70 doesnt sound old to me......hehehe
Know what you mean though, I have the mind of a teenager and the body of a middleaged woman...mmm if I had a wish...lol
