I'm a tiny bit eccentric.......
just a little hard-to-please.......

 

It might be evident most when
I'm fixing my cup-of-teas
 

I let it steep for just so long
then give the teabag a squeeze
 

I've cut down on my sugar now
so a scant half-teaspoon's good
 

Then slowly pour some whole milk in --
I'd use skim milk if I could --
 

Memories of my childhood days
bring visions of milk blue-white
 

Made from surplus dry milk beads
till Mom thought it was just right
- NOT ME! -
 

Getting back to my cup-of-teas
I gently stir with my spoon
 

Pause to see if the color's right
humming a teatime tune
 

Did I mention the water temp?
To a boil, but please, no more
 

Don't want to boil the flavor out
before the first cup I pour
 

Now check the color once again
then add 2 dribbles of milk
 

Sip a li'l sample from my spoon
Ah, my tea is smooth as silk
- JUST RIGHT! -
