the sea
Affinity for the sea The deep dark blue green sea I’m a heliotropic lady Living on clear quartz sand I long for clear waters And I know The sea, the sun and the land All parts of me.

When the sun sets scarlet
And the moon rises gold
The sea sparkles silver
And sings a sleepy song

I titled this "Sailors' Lullaby." Your verses reminded me of it as did the feelings that were awakened through them. Thank you for sharing this gift, Barbara. Love and best wishes,
