This is an older piece I found--thought you might enjoy it.

Another hair day;
Just look at my face!
Bride Frankenstein hair
All over the place!

I'd curled and I'd teased,
Left home looking fine.
Curls fell and they tossed—
Lost all of their shine…

At work, I avoid
Social contact.
I throw on a scarf;
Crawl under my desk.

Then when I’m spotted,
I look up and say,
’I lost my contact’--
No face time today!

I know what they think--
I’m oversexed or nuts
I look so damned bad—
They’d rather see my butt!

Now quitting time’s come
Thank God 'cause I’m tired
And glad that I’ve come
To a decision inspired--

Tonight this ole head
Will get a long wig.

If it doesn’t blow off,
It could be the gig;

To cure this condition
Of bad hair for sure…

Look less like a monster
But more like a mule!
