Building a snowman late at night,
As the moon shines, oh, so bright,
Feeling the crisp breeze whip across my face,
I place the buttons in the perfect place,
My nose and lips become numb,
Just as I push the pipe in with my thumb,
Taking a step back to admire my masterpiece,
I quickly recall I need to wrap him in fleece,
Tying the scarf around his neck,
I notice so much beauty surrounding this mountain deck,
Light snowflakes begin to fall,
Looking up I open my mouth wanting to catch one, or maybe even all,
Inside awaits a toasty fire,
For when I have finished relishing in my latest desire,
Being one with me,
Feeling happy and free,
Winter has come,
Oh, what fun!
