As a runner this is how I feel after running!!

Running

Course flow running amongst my veins with discontent or corruption
I take to the sweat and confront my fears and swallow the pollution

My temperature peeking at a cool percentage tormented waste
I feel my lips shifted by my tongue and disregarded by the taste

My eyes seem blurry and my sight not what it is meant to be
Holding my head in my hands and feeling my chest while it is not me

I stand to confront my exhaustion in a solemn measure
My knees collapse and the ground feels cold but relieved from pressure

What have I done and where will I end up for time to trace
Feeling the ambiguity of the surrounding lineage and closing space

I felt as though I had run for a decade of decadence
When all I can feel is the open air and heated Independence
