Hugs, Trish...

Will be in next week to do some catch up reading...things are just too busy right now.

Poem Artwork

On crackling airwaves, a storm warning comes to light,
Demanding attention, striking wickedly against the night,
As fury whips, explosive energy into passionate delight,
While life, as we know it, watches this spectacular sight.

Thunder booming, the voice of God rages, loud and clear,
Warning those who wander too close, to not step too near,
Whipping waves toss sailors, in ships, sinking with fear,
Into churning seas, rolling crests filled with atmosphere.

Lightning blisters ozone trails into majestic dark skies,
Creating fiery tracks, ending destructively where it lies,
Sizzling patterns splinter into colourful arrays, and flies
Quickly encompasses manmade materials, which it fries.

A brazen woman, tempts fate, gazing wistfully outside,
While the bold and bright elements all clash and collide,
Fearing neither, the storm, nor the warning words cried,
She knows, satisfaction, will quiet all heavens’ denied.

poetry is something I love to read, but I'm not one to write it. What wonderful imagery.
