Spectacles Testicles Wallet and Watch Out
a silly sonnet for Silke
I got some new spectacles recently
Which hurt my ears and nose indecently
I subsequently came to realize
For all of that they did not help my eyes
On top of all these things the frames were grey
And purchased on the cheap on sale one day
The optician had proven unable
To sell them so they were on this table
With other ugly frames no one would buy
Except a true eccentric ...therefore I
Bought them and fought them and thought I would die
That on me I looked closer to my age
Which seized me with a most un-Lance-like rage
Sorry to say: I smashed them... yesterday
