Thank you, this is a new place for me to advocate. Most recently I tell it because some lonesome diseases need to be expressed. We need an understanding of how service to country does affect some veterans and active soldiers. God bless you Barbara J Henry.

The price for their fight for freedom not only is paid by those who die but by those come back. So little homage is paid to those who have been through the horrors of war 90% of the world never sees.

My father and his brothers served in World War II. This is so appropriate for my family. It seems fewer and fewer people know what this sacrifice is all about. We need the reminders. Donna Gordon

On the day troops come home from Iraq it was most fitting to read this poem. They are fortunate to be returning for Christmas with loved ones. May they all enjoy eachothers' company. But Let us all pray for a moment for the sacrificed lives and where an empty place at the table awaits. May the forgiving and loving Lord, ease their pain and make them grateful for their service. This poem will go a long way to heal wounds.
