Butterfly on the 5th of July

Schmutz poem 4 U

Oh to be a butterfly

To spread my wings

And grace the sky

To dance with blossoms

To drink the clouds

To float on breezes

Above the crowds

To strut my pallet

And then perchance

A flutter invites

Butterfly romance

What could be better

Than weightless love

A natural tango

Gliding far above

Delightful daydream

That makes me sigh

Oh to be a butterfly

I tried to be a butterfly once after 3 tabs of blotter acid. Thank God there were no windows. But I liked this piece. A sensitive chap you are.
