My bone needs some attention

A pure hyper extension

A notable ascension

Of significant dimension

An immediate suspension

Of all misapprehension

To facilitate prevention

Of potential hypertension

It’s the medical convention

No theory of my invention

Though I probably should mention

The unfortunate retention

Of my thoughts held in detention

Contribute to mental tension

At least that’s my contention

And since I don’t collect a pension

Continue to work with apprehension

While

Convincing the muse to do its part

To stroke the bone that wears no glove

To humorously inspire this old fart

Because it’s funny bone that I really love
