What a choice……Bob tail nag or gray ghost

To the tune "Camptown Races"

Poem Artwork

Jerry Brown called old Meg a whore

Doo dah doo dah

But she keeps coming back for more

Oh the doo dah day

Billionaire buys the votes

Jerry can’t stay away

I won’t waste my money on the bob tail nag

Please nobody bet on the gray

Fresh road apples and elephant dung

Doo dah doo dah

Party politics from their bung

Oh the doo dah day

Billionaire’s hired help

Immigration play

I won’t waste my money on the bob tail nag

Please nobody bet on the gray

Propositions up the ass

Doo dah  Doo dah

Mail in ballots and I won't pass

Oh the doo dah day

Throw the bums all out

On election day

I won’t waste my money on the bob tail nag

Please nobody bet on the gray

Sure glad I left Caleefornnaa after the Summer of Love when it was cool, but unaffordable. Where's Linda Ronstadt now?

Enlightening write.

i guess this is what many would call the proverbial false choice. ughh. do you ever listen to john and ken on KFI 640? they're all over both of these losers like flies on steak. nutmeg and moonbeam. we're screwed.

The title is PERFECT. So is this rollicking write. All of the ads, the ads, the ads, the phone calls, the ads make me wanna barf. Especially since I made up my mind already and voted (so there). LOL Well done, Patrick! I have missed reading you.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

As if the political arena isn't sickeningly funny enough you can find more humor in it! Me thinks the house of cards is crumbling and I hear Nero's fiddle in the background...

Be always safe,

I received a message on Facebook this afternoon from a lovely lady who is also a member of AD. In her message it said to be sure to vote next Tuesday because "I'm voting to keep America moving forward." I wrote her back that I am voting to NOT continue the practices of the last two years. I used different language, but basically that was what I said. America is about to lose itself to insanity if we can't find men and women to put a stop to it.

Now if you were looking to fertilize your crop of cannabis sativa, you'd be ahead with elephant dung, you'd get more bang for the buck, but then you'd also have to smoke it regularly to be able to live with yourself. Actually I think both parties are smokin the stuff, you might want to try starting a coffee party, sort of aching to the republics of the south, I think there is now a natural inclination to emulate them, got any pesos? Enjoyed your humour as always Patrick.

Compared to what we have to choose from in Oregon; a former basketaball player that has more money than God, and a doctor that wants a second swing at the bat, to be God...apologies for the over use of metaphors.

Cheers and good luck,
Dan

Uh, yeah! Well, for what it's worth, my two cents worth are on the Bob Tail Nag. How refreshing it would be to actually have somone to vote for that we actually like.
